Device Enclosures

These are enclosures I have built, bought or printed that I particulary enjoyed and recommend; or notes about interesting enclosure options I am exploring.

• Deenlai FSH710

I haven't built any enclosures yet, but here are some useful enclosures to consider for DIY:

• 1010 Micro Case - internal dimensions 111 mm × 73 mm × 43 mm
• 1015 Micro Case - internal dimensions 131 mm × 67 mm × 35 mm
• 1020 Micro Case - internal dimensions 135 mm × 90 mm × 43 mm

• 100ml PET Preform - suitable for Heltec LoRa32 V3
• Search for 瓶胚 on Taobao

Heltec WiFi LoRa 32(V3) with Plastic Shell

• No battery compartment, no support for SMA connector; 3D printed replacement backs available to add battery and other compartments
• IMHO, better to just order the board without the case, you get a u.FL to SMA pigtail and SMA antenna, which gives you an upgrade path

Unify Enclosure Solar IP65 100x75x38

• The solar panel is not sufficient to keep a RAK4361 Meshtastic ROUTER_CLIENT charged, even with half a day of direct sunlight

I recommend printing in PETG or similar heat-resistant materials, as the combined heat of the microcontroller, LoRa module and environment may be enough to soften PLA

• Accessory compartment → Space inside case for additional accessories e.g. GPS module or sensors
• Easy print → Prints without supports

  • The buttons are very small and may melt if printed as individual objects, I recommend printing them with other objects
